Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy enables children with mental and/or physical limitations to function as independent as possible in the activities to daily living. These activities consist of play, dressing and undressing, academics, writing, drawing, cutting and doing puzzles.
Occupational therapy consists of evaluation and treatment. Depending on the amount and the type of limitations found in the evaluation, treatment consists of training fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, sonsorimotor integration, giving advice relating to sensory defensiveness, providing adaptive equipment ergonomic advice regarding seating and positioning and working on the computer including advising computer software.
